Master

The Master, or Captain, is the highest-ranking officer on the ship, responsible for the overall safety of the vessel, crew, and cargo. The Master oversees all maritime and administrative operations and acts as the official representative of the ship. Chief Officer

The Chief Officer, or First Mate, is responsible for managing cargo operations, including loading and unloading, as well as the maintenance of the ship. The Chief Officer also supervises safety

2nd Officer

The Second Officer primarily handles navigation, including plotting the ship's course and maintaining navigational equipment. The Second Officer is also in charge of medical emergencies and maintaining first aid supplies on the ship.

3rd Officer

The Third Officer assists with navigation duties and is often responsible for the maintenance of life-saving equipment. The Third Officer also takes part in cargo operations and performs various safety inspections.

Chief Engineer

The Chief Engineer is the head of the engineering department, responsible for the operation and maintenance of the ship's engine and other mechanical systems. The Chief Engineer oversees the work of the engineering crew and ensures all machinery is functioning correctly.

2nd Engineer

The Second Engineer assists the Chief Engineer in maintaining and operating the ship's engines and other mechanical systems. The Second Engineer is often responsible for daily engine room operations and monitoring fuel and lubrication levels.

3rd Engineer

The Third Engineer is responsible for maintaining auxiliary engines and equipment, including generators and compressors. The Third Engineer also assists with routine maintenance and repairs in the engine room.

4th Engineer

The Fourth Engineer typically handles the maintenance and operation of smaller machinery and systems on the ship. The Fourth Engineer assists the senior engineers with tasks and learns the operations of the engine room.

ETO (Electro-Technical Officer)

The Electro-Technical Officer is responsible for the maintenance and repair of electrical and electronic systems on the ship. The ETO ensures that all communication and navigation equipment is functioning properly.

Mechanical

The Mechanical Officer handles the maintenance and repair of mechanical systems and equipment on the ship. This role involves ensuring the efficient operation of machinery and performing routine checks and repairs.

Electric

The Electric Officer is responsible for the maintenance and repair of electrical systems and equipment on the ship. This role ensures that all electrical systems, including lighting and power distribution, are operational.

Bosun(Boatswain)

The Bosun supervises the deck crew and oversees the maintenance of the ship's deck, including painting and cleaning. The Bosun is also responsible for handling mooring lines and ensuring the safety of deck operations.

Fitter

The Fitter is responsible for fabricating, assembling, and maintaining metal structures and equipment on the ship. This role involves welding, cutting, and repairing metal parts and machinery.

Oiler

The Oiler assists in the engine room by lubricating moving parts, checking oil levels, and performing routine maintenance. The Oiler helps ensure that the engines and mechanical systems run smoothly and efficiently.

AB(Able Seaman)

The Able Seaman performs various tasks on deck, including mooring, cargo handling, and maintenance work. The AB also stands watch, assists in navigation, and participates in emergency drills.

Tanker

A tanker is a ship designed for transporting liquid cargo, such as oil, chemicals, or liquefied natural gas.

Bulk Carrier

A bulk carrier is a vessel used to transport large quantities of unpackaged bulk cargo, such as grains, coal, ore, and cement.

General Cargo Ship

A general cargo ship is designed to carry various types of goods, including containerized, break-bulk, and heavy lift cargo.

RoRo(Roll-on/Roll-off)
